Vucic spoke about the hybrid methods of the West’s struggle with Russia in Serbia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the West is using hybrid methods to fight Russia in the Serbian Internet space.

“They see Russian propaganda everywhere, and I’ll tell you how propaganda is being carried out against us: some “Green Bear” will appear on Telegram, and you will think that it is pro-Russian, and then every second, third news is against Vucic. When we check where they are from, we understand that they come from one neighboring country, which is a member of NATO and under great influence from outside,” Vučić told Serbian Radio and Television during a trip to the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina (TASS quote).

According to him, we are talking about one southern state — a neighbor of Serbia. Vučić stressed that his country «will not destroy traditional friendly relations, no matter who demands it.»

The Russian authorities have repeatedly accused the West of unleashing an all-out war against Russia. In particular, the Russian ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, said in January that the United States was «cashing in on NATO partners, forcing them to finance the renaissance of the American military-industrial complex.» According to the diplomat, the Kremlin regularly warns Washington about the dangers of its policies.

In April, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that NATO was effectively entering a «proxy war» with Russia by supplying arms and military equipment to Ukraine. “If NATO, in fact, goes to war with Russia through a proxy and arms this proxy, then in war as in war,” he said.
